The new SKB Removable Shock Rack Cases are lightweight, shockproof, watertight, dustproof, heat and chemical-resistant. Removable rack slides open as easily as a file drawer, allowing full access to equipment. The rack is also completely removable allowing complete frame accessibility making bench integration possible.
Cases are available in 7 sizes; 3U, 4U, 5U, 7U, 9U, 11U, and 14U and utilize a new "positive lock" inner frame latch (patent pending) which provides superior shock and vibration isolation. Cases are equipped with a 2" deep front lid and 5" deep rear lid with 2 edge casters, lid hangars, slide out inner rack, Pressure Relief Valve, coupling straps, black powder coated stainless steel hardware, and 8 comfort grip spring-loaded handles.
Cases are also equipped with eight elastomeric shock absorbers (load range of 40 to 150 lbs.) with provisions to add additional shocks for an extended payload range 160 to 300 pounds (part# 3SKB-SA). Molded in stacking ribs and lugs are designed to stack, interlock and couple with the Hardigg Super Mac series. Standard color is BLACK. Standard 19” rackmount width per EIA standards. A standard Rack Unit is 1.75 inches (4.445 cm) in height. Square hole rack rails accommodate either #10-32 US standard or 6mm international standard cage nuts.
All SKB Shock Rack Cases with removable racks (3RR-3U24-25B, 3RR-4U24-25B, 3RR-5U24-25B, 3RR-7U24-25B, 3RR-9U24-25B, 3RR-11U24-25B, 3RR-14U24-25B) come with SKB's Million Mile Warranty.
