The SKB 28" Deep Roto Shock Rack Case is a roto-molded shock rack that is made to fit Dell and Compaq deep servers. Case comes standard with square mounting holes to accept Dell and Compaq mounting hardware. Accommodates "Versa-rail" and "Rapid-rail" pull-out systems. Optional mounting rails convert to 3/16" threaded or 7/32" through-holes or square cagenut windows (Call).
This Heavy Duty Shockrack system includes a revolutionary new patent pending Adjustable Rail Conversion System. This ARCS technology allows the user to adjust the rack width up to 0.5 inches on each side. This means that the standard 19" rack space is adjustable from 18" to a maximum of 20" wide.
Compound hinge system allows the lid to swing out and completely around to lie flat against the main body of the case, or you can go lid-less with an effortless lift motion and reinstalled with the same ease in seconds.
Front and rear lids are designed to protrude into the base of the case approximately 1" making the case incredibly strong. Doors are fitted with rubber gaskets for water resistant protection. Significantly fewer latches than most competition allows for rapid deployment in an up-right configuration -- even when stacked. Meets most ATA and military specifications.
The new SKB shock-rack system stacks securely with the wheels on or off and this revolutionary design is also the only shock rack that will open front and back while stacked. Other features include black powder coated stainless steel latches, removable 4" casters, eight elastomeric shock absorbers (load range of 40 to 150 lbs.) with provisions to add additional shocks for an extended payload range to 300 pounds (3SKB-SA), gasketed doors and pressure relief valve.
Standard 19” rack width per EIA standards. Depth front to rear rail is 28.75" and each lid is 4.5" deep. A standard Rack Unit is 1.75 inches (4.445 cm) in height.
