SKB Mil-Standard cases are designed to exceed the most demanding military specifications, they are roto-molded for strength and durability, airtight and water proof with solid stainless steel latches and hinges that will withstand the most demanding shipping conditions. These cases are molded of (LLDPE) polyethylene impact resistant / UV stabilized material and meet or exceed all ATA, MIL-STD 810F and MIL-C-4150J specifications.
Foam filled cases are filled with either layers of Cubed (Pick-N-Pluck) foam or Layered foam. Look for the "C" or "L" in the part number. Cubed foam makes it easy to remove unwanted areas for customization. Layered (or solid) foam is modified by using a sharp knife to remove unwanted sections. Tricks and Tips for modifying foam.

SKB 3R Series industrial carrying cases and shipping cases are available in two configurations, with wheels and retractable pull handle or without. Large cases without built-in wheels and pull handle are available with an optional Caster Kit.
3R4530-24 and 3R5030-24 are oversize and must ship by truck.
